That word “Welcome” is more than just a simple greeting. It literally means – “It’s a pleasure to receive you as our guest.” That is precisely what we, as a church, want to say to you. Whether you’ve been around in Bath long enough to call yourself a true Bathonian, or you’re setting up home for the first time in our city, or you’re just planning to be here for a year or two before moving on, we would love to receive you as our guest.
Jesus said one time, “Everyone that the Father has given me will come to me, and I won’t turn any of them away”. Such is the welcome of the God we worship and serve; the God we aim to follow as a church. We want to reflect and imitate him.
So please check out our website and find out what is going on in the life of our church. There is something for all ages. We would love for you to come along, meet us and find out more. What’s more we would be delighted to help you in any way we can.
Our hope and prayer is that you may want to become more than a guest; that you might even like to become part of the community here as we worship, serve and follow Jesus together. But for now, why not simply pay us a visit.
You’re very welcome!
Messy Church is back again for a new season.
Get these dates in your diary:
Sunday October 15th
Sunday November 12th
Sunday December 10th
We meet at 3pm – 5pm. Come in through the big gates off Triangle East.
We do Crafts and Activities based on our theme for the first 45 mins or so. Then a countdown on the big screen makes sure we’re ready for Song time and Bible Story time.
Then we have a hot meal together – there’s always a veggie option and a pud to follow.
I always think, after an action packed family weekend, it’s great for tired busy parents. The kids go home happy and fed – so it’s just bath time and bedtime with no washing up to do!
This year we are thinking about times when Jesus and Food came together – surprisingly often. Sharing food together is something Jesus did to get close and connected in love with the friends and strangers he met. And He still wants to do that today – Come and join us to find out more.
Everyone is welcome!
Did I tell you? It's completely Free!
Pretty Raw is a blog site written by a group of young women including two in our fellowship. Sharon and Lydia have been documenting a life living with Jesus in a modern world.
Their insights into how to live in a challenging world sticking close to His word is inspiring and humbling. They are keeping it real – and holy, connecting real life situations with what the bible has to tell us about living life to the full.
You can find the blog at www.prettyrawclub.com or on Insta or facebook using @prettyrawclub
So we’re in a season of expectation for the year ahead. In particular to be joined by students from our local community.
A great warm welcome awaits and we have organised some lunches after church, in the homes of church members, to help us get to know new folk better.
“Velo Vouchers” are a new thing this year. We’d love our church buddies to invite student buddies for a coffee and a chat at our local café bar on Moorland Road – it’s called the Velo Lounge.
Students: We’d love to know more about what you think God’s got in store for you in your Uni years. Maybe you have a talent that’s itching to be released into the church. Maybe you’re a Prayer Warrior, or a Youth leader or a Worship leader or an Evangelist . . . Alternately maybe you need a community of Christians to support you in prayer and discipleship through the challenges of the Uni years. We’d love to know how we can help you to experience deeply and richly God’s passion for your life.
We have a group of young people – Uni students and graduates, who meet on alternate Wednesday evenings at Matt and Jenny’s home. This group shares a meal together followed by bible study and prayer time. Come and join us.
